Job Summary:

We're seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in providing exceptional patient care. As an LVN, you'll work under the supervision of a clinician or Registered Nurse (RN) to ensure patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct patients to exam/treatment areas and prepare them for examinations and procedures.
  • Obtain records and reports vital signs and patient information to the RN or clinician.
  • Administer medication, perform patient tests, and instruct patients on procedural preparations under supervision.
  • Notify pharmacies of new prescriptions and authorizations for refills as ordered by the clinician.
  • Collect, label, and transport specimens to appropriate destinations.
  • Maintain and clean exam/treatment areas and medical equipment.
  • Maintain logs, records of medical procedures, and inventories of supplies.
  • Perform telephone screening and additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited LVN program.
  • Active, unrestricted LVN license from the state of California.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare providers (American Heart Association).
  • Blood withdrawal certification.
