About the Role:
The Salvation Army is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain all floors in the facility by sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing.
- Maintain bathrooms by restocking supplies, cleaning, and disinfecting sinks, mirrors, urinals, toilets, and walls.
- Empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles, and pick up papers and other debris inside and outside of the facility.
- Perform other cleaning and maintenance tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
