Commercial Litigation Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our esteemed legal team at Jobot. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of complex commercial litigation matters, including intellectual property litigation, entertainment litigation, corporate disputes, and real estate litigation.
Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee complex commercial litigation cases from the investigation phase through the appeal process.
- Deliver expert legal advice on a range of commercial disputes, including intellectual property litigation and corporate ownership disputes.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Represent the organization in court hearings, mediations, and arbitration proceedings.
- Conduct thorough legal research to stay abreast of changes and advancements in commercial litigation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their legal needs are met and exceeded.
- Collaborate with legal team members to develop effective defense strategies and litigation plans.
- Provide training and guidance to junior attorneys and support staff within the legal department.
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in complex commercial litigation.
- Proven experience in intellectual property litigation and corporate ownership disputes.
- Active membership in good standing with the State Bar.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of successful dispute resolution.
- Strong analytical abilities and excellent research skills.
- Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex legal principles clearly and concisely.
- High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
- Ability to work independently, manage large workloads, and keep deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
