We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing direct therapy services to promote progress and achievement.
Responsibilities- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students, including articulation, language, and fluency disorders.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs and goals, including speech and language therapy, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies, and parent education.
- Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students, including individual and group therapy sessions, to promote progress and achievement in speech and language skills.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with school-based teams, including teachers, parents, and administrators, to support student success and facilitate communication goals.
- Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Valid Florida state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience: Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred.
- Skills: Strong computer skills and familiarity with teletherapy platforms, ability to build rapport with students and effectively engage them in virtual therapy sessions.
