Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at One World Pediatrics. The successful candidate will work with pediatric patients with physical, developmental, and cognitive challenges to enhance their ability to perform daily activities, improve independence, and reach developmental milestones.

Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapist will assess and provide individualized treatment to pediatric patients, collaborating with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to create a supportive and holistic approach to care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric therapy and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise Occupational Therapist Assistants and ensure high-quality care for pediatric patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide support and education on therapy techniques and strategies.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of strength and weakness in pediatric patients.
  • Provide therapy services to pediatric patients, including occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapy.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and develop treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in pediatric therapy.
Requirements:
  • Must be licensed to practice in Florida.
  • Must have one (1) year of pediatric therapy experience.
  • Preferably credentialed with insurance companies.
