Job Description:

GetMed Allied is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a travel IR Tech, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and procedures, and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the performance of interventional radiology procedures, including angioplasty and stent placement
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray and fluoroscopy machines
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures
  • Monitor patients during procedures and provide care as needed
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
  • Strong knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and equipment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
