Financial Reporting Manager

Delaware North is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager to join our team in Buffalo, New York.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the financial reporting and consolidation processes, ensuring accurate and timely completion of monthly financial reporting and consolidation.
  • Coordinate and support the year-end financial external audits and the preparation of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Develop and implement financial reporting processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage a team of accountants and provide guidance and support to ensure successful completion of financial reporting tasks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; professional certification such as CPA or MBA strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role or equivalent.
  • Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statements.
  • Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with other financial systems such as Blackline, Workday, and OneStream a plus.
