Job Responsibilities

As an Armed Security Officer, your role will involve protecting and securing clients across various sectors including Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, and Government.

Key Duties Include:
  • Delivering exceptional customer service by implementing safety and security protocols, adhering to site-specific policies, and executing emergency response actions when necessary.
  • Addressing incidents and critical situations with a calm and solution-oriented approach.
  • Conducting regular and random patrols of the premises and surrounding areas, with varying environments and conditions based on client needs.
Essential Qualifications:
  • *Must already hold a PA ACT 235 Certification (specific to Pennsylvania)*
  • *Minimum age requirement: 21 years for armed positions*
  • *Ability to stand and walk for extended periods*
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in a related field.
  • Applicants will undergo a background check in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Allied Universal® will consider qualified candidates with criminal histories in accordance with applicable laws.
  • Drug screening may be required as a condition of employment, as permitted by law.
  • Participation in industry-specific security and safety training programs is mandatory.
  • Licensing requirements may vary based on state and local laws and must be fulfilled prior to employment.
  • Post-offer, candidates must successfully complete training requirements and obtain a Management of Aggressive Behavior certification.
