We are seeking a highly skilled Meat Associate Team Lead Professional to join our team at Whole Foods Market. About the Role

The Meat Associate Team Lead Professional will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team of meat associates, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional customer service and maintain the highest standards of product quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of meat associates to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Assist the Team Leader in analyzing sales reports and labor data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase sales and reduce costs
  • Develop and implement creative store layouts and product merchandising plans to drive sales and improve customer engagement
  • Maintain awareness of customer flows and needs, directing team members as necessary to satisfy and delight customers
  • Select, train, develop, mentor, motivate, and counsel team members to sustain a high-performance team and minimize turnover
  • Communicate and maintain team member safety and security standards
  • Provide timely, thorough, and thoughtful performance evaluations
  • Consistently communicate and model WFM vision and goals

  • Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and operations-related applications

Benefits:

Whole Foods Market offers a competitive salary range of $20.05 - $35.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan benefits, eligibility for a store discount, paid time off, and access to other benefit programs.

Working Conditions:

This role requires standing/walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday. The candidate must be able to lift 50 pounds and perform duties requiring bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals, temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit, and the ability to work in a wet and cold environment are also required.
