About the Dietary Aide Position

We are seeking a friendly and sociable Dietary Aide to join our dining department team. As a Dietary Aide, you will participate in all aspects of meal service, including food preparation, service, and clean-up. You will ensure that food is attractive and palatable, and is served in correct portion sizes at proper temperatures according to physician-specified diet orders.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, both individually and as part of a team. You must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, and have the ability to perform basic math calculations. You must also have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.

As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and serving meals in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensuring that food is safe and of high quality
  • Providing excellent customer service to our residents
  • Working effectively as part of a team to achieve departmental goals
