About the Position

The Clinical Hand Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with complex upper extremity conditions, including tendon injuries, peripheral nerve injuries, crush injuries, repetitive motion disorders, lacerations, arthritis, joint replacement, and digit reattachments. You will work closely with hand surgeons and orthopedic rehabilitation teams to develop and implement pre- and post-surgical protocols for hand rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluating and treating patients with various upper extremity conditions
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and goals
  • Providing post-operative management of upper extremities, fabrication of custom orthoses, joint mobilization, instrument-assisted soft tissue techniques, manual therapy, taping techniques, wound and scar management, edema management, work simulation, range of motion, strengthening, and arthritis management
  • Maintaining accurate and timely medical records
