Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapy Specialist to provide high-quality, patient-focused respiratory care. This role involves coordinating and delivering respiratory therapy in alignment with departmental standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including evaluating breath sounds and airway conditions.
- Perform diagnostic tests to determine the need for respiratory interventions.
- Assist in the placement of artificial airways and manage mechanical ventilation.
- Administer various respiratory therapies, including oxygen and aerosol treatments.
- Prepare and operate clinical equipment in accordance with established protocols.
- Execute technical skills with precision and safety, managing emergency situations effectively.

Qualifications

- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within the first month of employment.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential must be obtained within five years of employment.
- Associate Degree in a relevant field.
