Job Overview

Beloit College seeks a highly skilled Graphic Designer to lead its design and creative services. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating high-quality visual content to support the college's academic mission, enrollment, and fundraising efforts.

The Graphic Designer will work closely with clients across campus to design digital and print materials, including the Beloit College Magazine, social media graphics, and email templates. The designer will also oversee the college's licensed products and ensure that all visual content aligns with the college's brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive design strategy to advance the college's brand and marketing efforts.
  2. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop creative solutions that meet their goals.
  3. Design and produce high-quality visual content, including digital and print materials.
  4. Manage the college's photographic library and digital assets.
  5. Work with the Chief Communications and Marketing Officer to evaluate and design campus banners and signage.
  6. Oversee the college's licensing efforts and approve artwork for retail items bearing Beloit College's licensed marks.
  7. Coordinate efforts to track client satisfaction and project outcomes.

Requirements:

  1. Undergraduate degree in art or communications, preferably in design.
  2. Five to seven years of professional design experience, with a focus on digital execution and print design.
  3. Art and photo direction experience.
  4. Experience working with diverse populations and willingness to work with diverse populations.
  5. Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
