About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Manager to join our team in Tampa, Florida. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the design and delivery of projects and maintaining relations with current and future clients within our Community Development business line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact for our clients and have overall responsibility for the success of all projects.
  • Engage on major and highly visible private development projects, including residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and mixed-use projects, as well as public sector facility projects.
  • Attract and develop new staff and secure new projects and clients to drive the growth of our Community Development program.
  • Pursue and win new clients and projects.
  • Organize and lead project-related meetings and presentations.
  • Coordinate with clients, team members, sub-consultants, and prepare detailed scope/fee proposals.
  • Perform planning phase activities, including initial project research and investigations, assessment of project feasibility, and provide input to project team on civil engineering-related issues.
  • Perform and direct all aspects of civil engineering design, including layout/geometry, grading, drainage, paving, water, sewer, and erosion control.
  • Prepare complete submission packages, supporting calculations, cost estimates, project schedules, and other duties.
  • Supervise construction phase support services, including development of bidding and contract documents, field inspections, progress meetings, final certifications, etc.
  • Monitor and control project progress, staffing, budgets, and methods of analysis and objectives.
  • Sourcing, attracting, and developing new staff.
  • Planning and executing QA/QC plans for individual projects.
Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in civil/site engineering and project management, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in relevant civil/site or land development engineering and project management. A Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.

A track record of successful projects, established network of key relationships in the Tampa Bay area land development and A/E/C community, and a strong working knowledge of civil engineering design, regulatory/permitting process, and track record of successful project approvals and agency relationships are also essential.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, as well as strong working knowledge of software programs such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, GIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD, WaterCAD, HydroCAD, and PondPack, is also required.
