Position Overview:
We are currently in search of a dedicated and skilled Aerospace Systems Architect who possesses a strong background in defining, integrating, and validating electronic systems and avionics. This role is pivotal in overseeing our video systems utilized in upcoming missions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate design reviews throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure compliance with all technical specifications.
  • Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation for various spacecraft vehicles, facilitating project completion and architectural design.
  • Encourage effective communication and collaboration between engineering and business teams to align project goals and objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive risk mitigation strategies to address potential challenges.
  • Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams to establish clear requirements and verification plans.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in aerospace engineering.
  • At least 2 years of experience in systems engineering and operations, with a solid grasp of systems engineering principles.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • General understanding of spacecraft subsystems.
  • Proven ability to lead a team of engineering professionals in addressing complex challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
  • Experience with early-stage space startups.
  • Track record of guiding a product or project from concept to deployment.

Additional Qualifications:
  • TC/SCI or Secret Clearance is a plus.
