Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Officer to join our team at GP Louisiana Credit Union. As a Finance Officer, you will be responsible for efficiently handling loan requests for our members, providing exceptional customer service, and building strong relationships with our borrowers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interview new borrowers to ascertain their lending needs and provide thorough explanations of our lending services
  • Process and underwrite loan requests with attention to detail, ensuring accurate borrower information and completed forms
  • Cross-sell additional credit union services and products to our members
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our members, providing a welcoming and friendly demeanor
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Strong rapport-building skills and ability to cross-sell products
Work Environment
