A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FINANCE - LOAN OFFICER
In this financial position, you play a very important role in our credit union. It is up to you to develop strong relationships with our members. With a friendly and welcoming demeanor, you interview new borrowers to ascertain their lending needs and thoroughly answer any questions they may have. You competently inform our members of our lending services as well as cross-sell additional credit union services and products.
You also expertly handle the processing and underwriting of each loan request. With great attention to detail, you ensure that all forms are filled out correctly and the borrower's information is accurate before submitting them for approval. You love what you do and enjoy helping others meet their financial goals
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FINANCE - LOAN OFFICER
- At least 2 years of Loan Officer experience
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Customer service skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
