G-Net Construction specializes in various industry sectors, including Hospitals, Nonprofit Organizations, Schools, Commercial, Medical Facilities, Mold Remediation, Fire Restoration, and Sustainable projects.
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction management, project coordination, and vendor management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the review and evaluation of vendor proposals.
- Coordinating subcontractor payments with office personnel.
- Researching project materials for purchasing.
- Coordinate permit applications and construction sign-offs with office staff.
- Setting up contract agreements with owners or subcontractors.
- Updating project schedules.
- Performing field surveys of projects during construction.
- Assisting in on-site project meetings.
- Setting up and making phone calls.
- Assisting with office phone calls, filing, faxing, scanning, copying, etc.
- Scheduling meetings and coordinating attendees.
- Client and designer interfacing.
- New vendor, supplier, and subcontractor acquisition.
- Helping with processing proposals and change orders.
- Helping with processing post-meeting notes (field and office meetings).
- Helping with visiting job sites daily to track progress.
- Helping with updating submittals logs and following up with respective subcontractors/vendors/architects.
- Helping with processing approved vendor proposals.
The estimated salary for this position is around $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a reputable company in the construction industry, with opportunities for growth and professional development.
In order to succeed in this role, you must have:
- A valid driver's license.
- Your own means of transportation.
- Experience in construction or architectural firm is a plus.
- An education in construction or architectural school is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Project, etc.
- NYC DOB Expediter license is a plus.
- Estimating experience is a Plus.
