POSITION SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role as a key member of the Medical-Surgical Department within our healthcare facility. This professional will deliver comprehensive nursing care, treatment, guidance, and health education to designated inpatients. The RN collaborates closely with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

SALARY AND COMPENSATION:

  • Competitive salary starting at $44.91, contingent on experience, with potential variations.
  • Additional compensation of $2.00 - $4.00 per hour for weekend and night shifts.
  • Eligibility for a $10,000 bonus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications (including IV medications), and develop care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Support patients through bandage care, pain management, and ensuring adequate rest, hydration, and nutrition.
  • Observe and document patient progress, updating medical records and communicating with attending physicians as needed.
  • Provide patient education and advocate for patient needs.
  • Assist in maintaining health and managing illness, injury, and disability.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado is required.
  • Current BLS certification upon hire.
  • ACLS, PALS, or ENPC certification required within six months of employment.
  • All certifications must remain current throughout employment.
  • Preferred: One year of nursing experience in a patient care environment. Must be at least 18 years old.
