Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $20-$30, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and operate all extrusion lines effectively
  • Monitor and maintain product quality, including width, gauge, clarity, and roll appearance
  • Ensure optimal operating conditions for quality production and safe equipment use
  • Assist with screen and die changes as necessary
  • Meet all quality, safety, and production standards consistently
  • Maximize output of all extruders
  • Train and guide extrusion assistants
  • Complete shift reports and production documentation accurately
  • Adhere to AIB guidelines
  • Identify and report defective materials or issues to supervisors promptly
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Follow detailed written and verbal instructions
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision

Qualifications:

  • Proficient knowledge of extrusion lines or related equipment
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic for production calculations
  • Experience in measuring and weighing materials accurately
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in extrusion or lamination operations
  • Familiarity with various polyethylene resins and their properties under different conditions
  • Physical capability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform tasks requiring coordination
  • Ability to use and read measuring tools accurately
  • Comfortable working in a loud environment with moving machinery
  • Awareness of safety hazards associated with the equipment and materials used
