LPN - Personal Care Job Summary

At Homewood Retirement Centers, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN to join our team. As a Personal Care LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
  • Provide accurate and descriptive records of medical and nursing care of the residents.
  • Assign daily resident care duties to Nursing Assistants and Hospitality Aides, monitor and evaluate the delivery of care.
  • Accurately transcribe and carry out all physicians orders and assist with physician visits.
  • Participate in resident care planning and evaluate the physical and psychological needs of the residents.
Requirements:
  • Current and valid LPN license in the state providing nursing care.
  • Possesses judgment capabilities, initiative, and dependability.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English well.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, twist, and turn frequently throughout the course of an eight-hour shift.
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds in assisting co-workers with resident lifts, transfers, etc.
