Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:

  • Preparation of financial statements
  • Reporting and presenting financial performance in relation to budget
  • Experience managing the financial close process
  • Preparation of journal entries and oversight of accruals
  • Conducting account reconciliations and analyses
  • Monitoring and enforcing internal controls
  • Assisting in the development of annual budgets
  • Training accounting personnel and conducting performance assessments
  • Preparing for internal and external audits
  • Generating various special reports as required
  • Familiarity with full cycle accounting processes
  • Conducting bank reconciliations
  • Experience with ERP accounting systems
  • Monitoring inventory counts
  • Overseeing cash in transit

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
  • CPA designation preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
