Loan Officer Trainee

As a Loan Officer Trainee at Bank Iowa, you will have the opportunity to work in various key areas of lending and gain knowledge and understanding of bank policies, procedures, and regulations. This role is designed as a training position that allows the trainee to gain the necessary experience and knowledge to become a Relationship Manager at Bank Iowa.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with Relationship Managers to gain knowledge of the bank's lending processes, policies, and regulations.
- Participate in loan committee meetings to obtain a further understanding of loans.
- Complete a wide variety of data input, word processing, copying, correspondence, reports, memos, etc.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
- A bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous exposure to or coursework related to lending practices, banking operations, or credit analysis.
- Any experience in customer service, sales, or retail banking would be beneficial for developing strong client relationships.
- Flexibility to work in various locations across Iowa during the training period and after promotion.
