About the Role

The Director of Accounting will play a critical role in the financial operations of our organization. This is a fantastic opportunity to advance your career and contribute to the financial success of a reputable company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed monthly balance sheet account analysis and perform budget vs. actual analysis.
  • Reconciliation & Reporting: Reconcile various cash and balance sheet accounts, prepare necessary journal entries, and create special financial reports as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Maintain robust accounting controls and identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency.
  • Audit Preparation: Collaborate with external auditors to provide necessary information for the year-end audit.
Requirements
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present reports to senior management and board members.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with financial reporting software is a plus.
  • Certifications: CPA or CMA certification preferred but not required.
