LHC Group is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Carrboro, North Carolina.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality care to our patients. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with adult to geriatric patients, assessing their needs and developing individualized treatment plans to help them achieve their goals.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations to determine patient rehab potential and identify needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, setting goals and objectives for patient care.
  • Collaborate with patients and families to establish treatment goals and achieve successful outcomes.
  • Provide direct patient care, including transfers, positioning, feeding, splinting, and other safe treatment techniques.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records according to department and facility standards.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of interdisciplinary team goals.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy and successful completion of the National Registry exam.
  • Current license in Occupational Therapy in the state of practice.
  • CPR certification and all other certifications and documents as required per LHC Group policy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
