Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice on a part-time basis (2 days per week) in Washington Heights, NY. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a Physician or Surgeon, but may also work independently, consulting with Physicians when necessary. Experience in all areas of medicine is a plus, but specialization in pain management is also desirable.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate and manage patient care
- Provide continuity of patient care
- Conduct patient consultations, including physical exams and social/medical histories
- Order and review tests/diagnostics
- Document patient encounters
- Create treatment plans
- Prescribe medication
- Assist practice physicians when needed
- Collaborate with the healthcare team for comprehensive patient care
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- PA-C/NP licensure to practice in NY
- Clinical skills in pain management and physical medicine and rehabilitation knowledge a plus
- BLS certification
- Recent graduates welcome
- $65-$75/hour (DOE)
- Part-time schedule (2 days per week, 8 hours per day)
