Position Overview:

As a Cocktail Service Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional Food and Beverage service to all guests in a prompt and professional manner, adhering to all relevant state and Casino alcohol regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding guest service at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked work area.
  • Engage with patrons in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Serve beverages and food efficiently to guests.
  • Be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Uphold the values and standards of Silver Reef Casino Resort while on duty.
  • Adhere to Casino and state regulations regarding alcohol service and health codes.
  • Address customer feedback and escalate issues to a Supervisor when necessary.
  • Handle cash transactions in accordance with Casino policies.
  • Complete assigned side work at the end of each shift.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by Supervisors or Management.

Physical and Mental Requirements:
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry trays weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Capable of bending, stooping, and performing tasks that require smelling and tasting.
  • Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems.

Working Environment:
  • Fast-paced and noisy atmosphere.
  • Exposure to a smoking environment.
  • Temperature-controlled workspace.
  • Surrounded by various food aromas.

Qualifications:
  • Previous guest service experience is preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Knowledge of liquor and beverage service is advantageous.
  • Must obtain a Food Handlers permit within 30 days of employment.
  • Successful completion of a 90-day probationary/training period is required for continued employment.

Licensing Requirements:
  • Must possess a Class II Gaming License, Food Handlers Permit, and MAST card.
