We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Estimator to join our team at Randstad US. As a Metal Fabrication Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for structural and metal fabrication projects.
Key Responsibilities- Review and analyze project blueprints, specifications, and related documents to understand project scope and requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment for structural and metal fabrication projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to assess project needs and potential risks.
- Develop and maintain a database of historical project costs for use in future estimates.
- Ensure estimates are accurate, competitive, and align with company objectives and client expectations.
- Assist in preparing and presenting bids and proposals to clients.
- Monitor and track project costs, comparing actual costs to estimates, and adjusting future estimates accordingly.
- 2 years of experience in metal fabrication estimation or a related field.
- Experience with fabrication, estimation, and project management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
