About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Recreational Therapist to join our team at LittleStar ABA Therapy. As a Recreational Therapist, you will work with children, teens, and young adults affected by autism, providing services in their homes or community-based facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct recreational therapy assessments to determine appropriate goals for clients.
  • Create and implement treatment plans based on recreational therapy assessments.
  • Track data per session and report progress on quarterly reports.
  • Implement appropriate responses to high-risk areas and maintain a safe environment.
  • Maintain client and family confidentiality.
  • Complete and submit client billing and additional paperwork in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Hold a minimum bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
  • Hold CTRS certification designated by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC).
  • Possess or be able to obtain CPR and First aid certification annually.
  • Have experience working with individuals with ID/DD.
  • Be a positive team player and energetic professional.
