Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist PRN to join our Imaging Team at HCA Florida Englewood Hospital. As a diagnostic sonographer, you will perform routine diagnostic sonographic procedures in a careful, compassionate, and respectful manner.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures.
  • Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images.
  • Maintain proactive and effective communication with patient and radiologist regarding any findings, patient histories, and test results as appropriate.
Requirements
  • General Ultrasound experience preferred; Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular experience preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited program for radiographers or ultra-sonographers; Vocational School Graduate.
  • RDMS Abdomen Specialty, or Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
