Physical Therapist Float Position

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our Float team in Fayville, Massachusetts.
Job SummaryAs a Physical Therapist Float, you will provide physical therapy services to patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to educate patients, families, and others, and direct and supervise support personnel. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing coverage to multiple SRN facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate physical therapy needs according to organizational and professional guidelines.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that reflect understanding of patients' age and situation, including discharge plans.
- Revised treatment plans based on patient progress towards stated goals.
- Complete documentation in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with facility and practice guidelines.
- Orient, train, and mentor therapy and health care students to achieve stated performance expectations.
- Identify and act upon Performance Improvement opportunities to implement best practices.
- Complete additional department, organization, or network activities as established.
- Uphold PCC Organizational Values of Innovation, Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- 3 years of experience as a licensed PT.
- Licensed (and in good standing) as a physical therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- A valid Driver's License.
- Highly developed communications and interpersonal skills, working with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and contribute as a member of a team.
- Anticipates challenges and develops and implements strategies for addressing them.
- High level of service delivery.
- Attention to detail.
