Job Title: Physical Therapist Float Position

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team as a Float Physical Therapist. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing physical therapy services to patients across various locations.

About the Role:

As a Float Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. You will work collaboratively with other members of the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the individual needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and evaluate patients' physical therapy needs according to organizational and professional guidelines.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that reflect an understanding of patients' age, situation, and discharge plan.
  • Document patient progress and revise treatment plans as needed.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Manage technical, environmental, and financial resources effectively and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • 3 years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Licensed (and in good standing) as a Physical Therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • A valid Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Highly developed communications and interpersonal skills, working with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and contribute as a member of a team.
  • Anticipates challenges and develops strategies for addressing them.
  • High level of service delivery.
