Position Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst will be instrumental in maintaining the accuracy, punctuality, and reliability of the company's financial data. Reporting directly to the Controller, this role will engage extensively in the month-end closing process, preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and support in regulatory reporting along with various accounting projects. The ideal candidate will exhibit outstanding communication and collaboration skills, providing exceptional service to meet business requirements and working closely with internal stakeholders to address critical financial needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare intricate monthly journal entries with a high degree of accuracy.
- Conduct month-end general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of periodic financial statements and supplementary schedules.
- Support the development of the annual corporate budget.
- Contribute to tax compliance efforts and annual audits.
- Collaborate with operational managers to analyze financial performance.
- Establish a systematic approach to maintaining organized and precise accounting records.
- Utilize analytical skills to propose enhancements in the organization's accounting processes.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing principles.
- Experience in the wholesale or distribution sector is essential.
- Property management experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

- Experience managing high-volume daily transactions.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
- Experience with QuickBooks and Sage X3 is beneficial.

Physical Requirements:
