About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Hahnville, LA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing engineering support to address plant issues impacting production.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance engineering, with experience in troubleshooting equipment failures and developing maintenance operating discipline.

In this role, you will work closely with plant personnel to provide technical expertise on troubleshooting failures, repairs, and evaluating equipment design and service conditions.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that work requests include engineering input on repair details and providing onsite/offsite technical support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serves as subject matter expert in equipment failures and repair techniques during root cause investigations.
  • Develops maintenance operating discipline.
  • Provides technical expertise to plant personnel on troubleshooting failures, repairs, and evaluating equipment design and service conditions.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma and one or more of the following: A Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical discipline preferred but not required), Relevant military experience at a U.S. E6 rank of Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or higher, 10 or more years of relevant experience in the Chemical Industry.
  • A minimum of 6 years maintenance, engineering, manufacturing or related experience.
