Job Summary

As an Occupational Therapist - Hand Specialist at SSM Health, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their maximum functional level. Your expertise in hand therapy and occupational therapy will enable you to develop and implement effective treatment plans, ensuring patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial evaluations to assess patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Administer and evaluate tests to determine musculoskeletal, neurological, and physiological responses.
  • Design and fabricate orthotics and adaptive equipment to aid in patient recovery.
  • Educate patients and their families/caregivers on patient deficits and provide guidance on discharge from therapy services.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a constant state of alertness and safety.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
  • Three years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in hand therapy.
