Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled HVAC & Refrigeration Service Professional to join our team at Thrive Restaurant Group. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, and other facilities-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to ensure optimal system performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Assist management in maintaining Health Department compliance and reporting equipment abuse or misuse.
- Respond promptly to Class 1 emergencies and perform routine maintenance on building, equipment, and grounds.
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing and maintain a log of diagnostics and repair activity.
- Stay up-to-date with technological changes affecting the maintenance program and assist operations with product implementations requiring facility upgrades.
- Plan schedules according to company guidelines and assist the Director of Facilities in leveraging product pricing strategies, warranties, and discounts.
- Utilize Corrigo to track repair requests, update assets, log time, and activity.
- Adhere to company safety and security procedures and maintain a driving record reflecting a commitment to safe driving practices.
- Maintain proper storage and security of company equipment and tools, as well as company vehicle maintenance according to company guidelines.
- Maintain parts inventory to plan for long-lead items and react to critical repairs in a timely manner.
- Monitor and evaluate the work of third-party contractors, keeping accurate records of work performed to critically review and approve invoices.
- Assist with remodels, producing work scopes, taking measurements, coordinating, and supervising third-party contractors, and ordering materials.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Five years' experience in a maintenance-related field
- CFC License
- Mechanically inclined
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, gas-operated equipment, electrical systems, refrigeration, and various cooking equipment
- Ability to work independently
- Basic knowledge of carpentry and building cosmetics
- Ability to troubleshoot problem equipment
- Ability to manage conflicting time constraints
- Commitment to company values
- IT skills to manage calendar, email, and work order management software
- Managing vendors
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA in a maintenance-related field
- Journeyman's license
- OSHA 10

Work Environment:
