Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement maintenance department goals, processes, and procedures to achieve company objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Create and maintain a preventative maintenance system to keep daily operations running smoothly.
  • Manage and execute base facility maintenance programs, including assessments, repairs, and minor construction projects.
  • Lead extensive renovations throughout facilities, saving the company substantial expense through internal project management and completion within time and budget.
  • Develop and implement operational safety policies and procedures to prevent incidents and ensure compliance with OSHA requirements.
  • Conduct and maintain records for fire safety, emergency preparedness, and hurricane evacuation according to state and local guidelines.
  • Perform a wide variety of skilled maintenance and repair tasks requiring knowledge of one or more building trades.

Requirements:
  • Experience in property management and preventative maintenance programs, HVAC systems, janitorial/housekeeping procedures, financial operations, and supervision of personnel.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, vendors, and associates.
  • Adherence to tight deadlines and quick turnaround for deliverables.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment where adaptability is imperative.
  • Strong written and oral skills.
  • Accurate with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
