Corporate Development Manager

About the Role:
SageSure is seeking a Corporate Development Manager to join its Corporate Development team. The ideal candidate will have a mastery of corporate finance principles, possess exceptional financial modeling and presentation skills, and be comfortable prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screen potential deals, conduct market research, and manage due diligence processes
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate potential opportunities and support capital raising and capital planning
- Prepare investment memos and presentations for senior management, investors, and other stakeholders
- Contribute to the negotiation of deal terms and the preparation of legal documentation
- Support investor management and investor communication efforts
- Monitor and report on the progress of portfolio companies
- Develop an understanding of emerging trends and industry dynamics
- Enhance current corporate development processes
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of financial experience, ideally in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or management consulting
- A strategic mindset with sound business judgement
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with experience maintaining and building detailed financial models
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Persuasive communication skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to assess workload and plan accordingly to meet competing deadlines
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and own challenging tasks while maintaining a collaborative and positive attitude
- Comfort building and leveraging internal and external relationships to achieve objectives
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, business, accounting or a related field
