Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Inland Residential Real Estate Services, LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical integrity of our communities and providing exceptional service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to apartments, common areas, and grounds
  • Respond to resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Communicate effectively with residents and staff to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service requests, and expenditures
  • Ensure all make-ready repairs and services are completed on schedule
  • Perform landscaping, cleaning, and other tasks as needed
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in property maintenance or a related field
  • Ability to interact professionally and efficiently with residents, staff, and management
  • Hands-on experience with basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC systems
  • Applicant must furnish their own tools and have transportation to pick up replacement parts and supplies
  • HVAC certification and CPO certification preferred
  • CFC/EPA approved certification required
  • Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing ladders and stairs, and walking on roofs
  • Must be familiar with and adhere to all OSHA guidelines
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Achieve Fair Housing certification prior to interacting with prospects or residents
Work Environment

This is a full-time position requiring 40+ hours a week, evenings, weekends, and on-call hours as circumstances warrant. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, paid vacation and sick time, 401K with a company match, and company-paid life insurance.
