Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of office buildings, clinics, and residential properties owned by Alabama Regional Medical Services. This role will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to support the offices, clinics, and other company-owned properties.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on building systems and company-owned property as required.
  • Identify and report damaged or defective materials, as well as questionable conditions of interior spaces.
  • Repair or replace minor plumbing issues, including leaks in kitchens and bathrooms.
  • Complete maintenance service requests as assigned by management.
  • Perform grounds work as assigned, including landscaping and exterior maintenance.
  • Monitor and coordinate the work performed by outside contractors.
  • Monitor and maintain all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Maintain all work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition, adhering to prescribed safety regulations.
  • Ensure all work-related activities are performed in an ethical and consistent manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • HVAC certification highly preferred.
  • Plumbing and carpentry experience a plus.
  • Must have own basic tools.
  • Must have a clean driving record for insurance purposes.
