Lincoln Electric is seeking a skilled Mechanical Leader to join our team. As a Mechanical Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating assembly and tryout activities, ensuring quality and delivery as specified by management.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate assembly and tryout activities to ensure timely delivery of jobs
- Assure good craftsmanship on jobs being built under your direction
- Complete in-process QC check sheets and QC audits as required
- Manpower planning and coordination to enable timely delivery of jobs
- Direct builders in daily job assignments and provide feedback on job status
- Audit received incoming material and dispense to builders
- Direct the packing and loading of machines/units for shipping
- Order necessary materials for completion of jobs
- Fill in for absences and take lead in de-bug functions for machinery
- Travel to assist in installations, de-bug, problem investigation, or problem solving to customer sites
- High School Diploma required
- Associate's Degree in Technical field preferred
- 10 years minimum experience as Machine Builder
- 2 years previous experience as leader preferred
- Journeyman card/status required
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
