Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs using appropriate tools.

  • Inform management of significant repairs or upgrades required for lighting, heating, and ventilation systems.

  • Ensure compliance with Material Safety Data Sheets.

  • Handle painting and repairs of walls, trims, and doors, as well as wallpaper, carpet, and sheetrock issues.
  • Manage an organized inventory of maintenance supplies required for hotel operations.
  • Ensure guest rooms meet superior quality standards and check all room equipment.
  • Address minor maintenance issues and escalate major concerns to management.
  • Track completed maintenance tasks and ensure adequate stock of commonly used parts and supplies.
  • Inspect and resolve minor issues in common areas of the hotel.
  • Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures and ensure safe operation of all equipment and chemicals.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures relevant to the role.
  • Report to work punctually, dressed appropriately, and in compliance with company standards.
  • Perform additional relevant duties as required.
