Occupational Therapist

PennState Health is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities.
Job Summary:The Occupational Therapist will assess, plan, and conduct individualized occupational therapy programs to help patients achieve their goals. You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Conduct occupational therapy sessions to help patients develop skills and strategies for daily living, work, and leisure activities.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
- Document patient progress and outcomes to inform treatment plans and improve patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based research to provide high-quality care.
- Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- State Occupational Therapist License required.
- BLS Certification must be obtained within 3 months of the start date.
- Prior experience in occupational therapy or a related field is preferred.
