Job Title: Louisiana Instrumentation Superintendent

TriNova, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Instrumentation Superintendent to lead our field service team in the Louisiana territory.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing measurable and achievable goals and objectives for the field service department, providing project management and technical lead for outages and large projects, and ensuring that both the Louisiana service office and individuals have the appropriate equipment to support the TriNova product lines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish measurable and achievable goals and objectives for the field service department
  • Provide project management and technical lead for outages and large projects
  • Ensure that both the Louisiana service office and individuals have the appropriate equipment to support the TriNova product lines
  • Identify training needs for service group personnel
  • Act as team leader and mentor to technicians
  • Support field service technicians with prep for difficult tasks and provide technical support
  • Hold service technicians accountable for responsibilities
  • Conduct and document informal and formal performance reviews
  • Work with the Louisiana AVP and Sales Director to develop yearly goals and achievements
  • Support account managers with day-to-day service opportunities and walk downs
  • Perform routine calibrations of process control instrumentation
  • Provide accurate, professional, and timely documentation of service calls

Requirements:

  • Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent training and experience
  • 5+ years of previous experience installing, maintaining, and repairing instrumentation
  • 3-5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in instrumentation
  • Technical aptitude
  • Problem-solving
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Industrial safety training
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Able to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to train and mentor local instrumentation technicians
