CREDENTIAL/LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

For California-Based Educators:
> Possess (or will possess) a valid California Preliminary or Clear Single Subject credential in Biology by the specified timeframe OR
> Be eligible for a California Single Subject Intern credential in Biology (candidates must obtain an intern credential within the specified timeframe), OR
> Be eligible for a Short-Term Staff Permit (STSP) or Provisional Internship Permit (PIP)

For Out-of-State or Non-

Credentialed Applicants:
> Prior to applying, visit the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing to evaluate teaching eligibility in a California public school as of the specified timeframe

COMPENSATION - SALARY
> For credentialed educators, our salary scale ranges from $71,085 to $127,985, based on education level and years of experience
> For aspiring educators who have not yet obtained their credentials or those currently enrolled in a credentialing program/intern-eligible, the salary range is between $62,316 and $63,866
