About the Role

As an Agronomy Sales Representative with Gold-Eagle Cooperative, you will play a critical role in connecting with farmers to understand their crop needs and providing tailored solutions. Your day will be filled with managing agronomy inventory, ensuring everything is in top shape, and assisting with equipment maintenance, billing, and maintaining strong client relationships with honesty and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Connect with farmers to understand their crop needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Manage agronomy inventory to ensure everything is in top shape
  • Assist with equipment maintenance, billing, and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Collaborate with the team and attend mandatory agronomy meetings to stay updated on industry trends
Requirements
  • 2+ years of crop production/agronomy experience
  • Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) certification
  • Licensed Commercial Applicator (1A, 1B, 1C)
  • Seed treatment certification
  • Class A CDL with tanker, doubles/triples, and HazMat endorsements
  • Knowledge of crop production systems and herbicide
  • Experience in crop scouting and staging
  • Expertise in seed placement and recommendations
  • Proficiency in fertilizer/soil sampling
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of motivation and organizational abilities
