Assistant Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager to join our team at Morgan Properties. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical aspects of our properties meet both company standards and applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage, develop, and mentor the maintenance team in diagnosing problems and making repairs.
  • Provide expert knowledge and troubleshooting in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool maintenance, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structure, and appliance repair.
  • Establish and prepare a 24-hour on-call schedule for the team and be personally available for snow, ice, or other on-site emergencies.
  • Manage and organize inventory of all maintenance materials.
  • Establish an on-call schedule, preventive maintenance schedule, make-ready schedule, and general work order schedule for the team.
  • Regularly inspect community buildings, including vacant units.
  • Complete tasks assigned by the Service Manager.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, personal vehicle, and auto insurance.
  • Live within a 30-minute commute of the property.
  • HVAC/EPA/CFC Certification.
  • Stellar communication and customer service skills.
  • 2-4 years related experience.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

Compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience, which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
