This position entails providing direct patient care, including IV therapy, in accordance with the Licensed Practical Nurse Act, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will guide and assist ancillary nursing staff with their responsibilities while collaborating with the multidisciplinary team and other healthcare professionals. Upholding professional standards is essential, as is taking responsibility for your own practice and aiding fellow team members in delivering top-tier personalized patient care.

Education

Required: High School diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience
Required: Experience handling confidential information and thriving in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Certifications

Required: Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse from an accredited institution in Louisiana. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred: IV Therapy Credentials.

Heavy Work - Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
