Job Summary:The LPN will provide direct nursing care to our residents, supervise nursing assistants, and ensure the highest quality of care is maintained at all times.
Responsibilities:- Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants in accordance with industry regulations and guidelines.
- Verify that all nursing personnel comply with written policies and procedures.
- Participate in the development and implementation of the facility's quality assurance program.
- Administer medications as ordered by physicians, verify resident identities, and maintain accurate records.
- Deliver and maintain optimum resident care and comfort by demonstrating knowledge and skills of current nursing practices.
- Respond to call lights and other resident needs in a timely manner.
- Licensed Practical Nurse with current state license.
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience.
- Ability to work in Crescent City.
