Role Summary

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to validate Rivian's vehicle platform electronics and utilize dedicated hardware to automate the system.

Responsibilities
  • Bring up and debug electronics on the bench, requiring hands-on expertise
  • Validate and characterize Rivian's vehicle platform electronics
  • Integrate compute systems within the vehicle and perform validation measurements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with software, test-automation, validation, and design teams
  • Conduct validation data and system reviews of various vehicle features
Qualifications
  • Electrical and Computer Engineering students; a Master's degree is preferred
  • Deep understanding of Analog, Digital, and SoC architecture
  • Proficiency in designing and validating systems with amplifiers and ADCs
  • Understanding of designing PCBs for ADC, Amplifiers, and PowerFET
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and design layout tools
  • Lab proficiency - knowledge of equipment and good lab practices
  • Familiarity with electronic and PCB manufacturing processes and materials
  • Nice to Have:
    • Familiarity with signal path, Analog to Digital Converter, Oscillator, PMIC
    • Familiarity with SPI/CAN-FD/CAN/LIN interfaces
    • Experience in Python and/or C scripting (primarily to support HW bring up and test)
Pay Disclosure

Salary Range for California-Based Candidates: $96,000 - $120,000; actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.

Benefits Summary

Rivian provides comprehensive medical/Rx, dental, and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
